APL Cartons produces packaging material for a variety of industries, with the food and beverage industry being one of its main clients.

 

The company endorses the National Development Plan and actively supports its shareholders to achieve their transformation targets. As part of this commitment the APL Employee Trust was established in 2006. This meant that APL Cartons' employees, who are also members of SATU (South African Typographical Union), became the owners of their very own transport company, which has become one of the key suppliers of transport for the company’s raw materials and corrugated carton products.
